Just more shots

Finally, some service around this place!

We found these cute little chairs that they sometimes sit in. If we want them to stay there, there is a magic combination. It involves the TV and something to drink

Helpin out daddy

How Sweet, he is helping Daddy check his email.

Yes those are The nice pans!

So mommy was getting dinner ready and Anastasia took a likin to the nice pans (and heavy) and mamma decided to see what would happen so she dragged the big things out and dragged them all over the place.

Easter Egg Babies

Well, for easter, we decided to try colouring eggs. It went about as well as one might expect.

First off Anastasia, well it seems our little girl has a little to learn about being gentle with eggs. She just grabbed that sucker and put her hand right through it! She was really quite fascinated with the texture. Thank god we hard boil first.

Next up... Christopher. He was not totally clear on the concept that we put the egg in the colouring and keep our hands lily white. As to be expected with a little Gillespie, he wanted to know what was in the cup. At least he did not try to drink it. Although he did a great job of spilling the Orange on mommy and the carpet.

Next everybody took a look at how purty the yellow egg was. Can everybody say... "oohhhhhhhh!"

Our Little Stacking Girl

It is amazing how suddenly with very little prompting, they will launch into a new task. Last week Roxanne played with Anastasia and showed her how to stack blocks. She has done this before and have varying success. All of a sudden it is like Anastasia is a Champion (ok Baby) Dominoes player.

But with some baby flair!

She has a future, wait until she figures out what to do with the lego!

Our little silly laughing boy.

So, about 6 months ago, we got the twins these musical toys. for 6 months they have shown not much interest. Until this past week. All of a sudden, Christopher Sits down, Picks it up... and the following happens.

We have no idea what the heck he is laughing at, but he sure finds it funny!

Happy Babies All around

More babies in the bath

Our Main issue is that her hair is too fine to do a decent mohawk. Hopefully over time it will become longer and we can have real bathtime fun!

Graduation day!

Well, Feb 15th was a big day for Christopher. It was the day that we went in for a head scan and the folks at the rehab centre said that Christopher could retire his helmet. It was expensive, it was a pain, but it was worth it.

Good Job Son!

Lookie Lookie, i figured out how to put video on this thing!

OK, this is a test. this is a video from August 2006 of christopher laughing.

How about that? Now that we know we can do this, it opens up other possiilities.

Stay tuned for more video of the kids!

17 month birthday

Well, as time has progressed, we have maybe not put as much effort into the monthly "portrait" but we still try.

This one is entitled "Get out of the way mommy, we can't see the TV"

Ah, it brings a tear to the eye.

A Photo with far more than meets the eye.

I read an article a little bit ago that talked about a milestone in a childs development being empathy. A few days ago, something happened to set Christopher off. He was pretty upset and crying and Roxanne could not attend to him for the moment. So in a few minutes as he was no longer crying, Roxanne peeked in to see what was going on (we are getting more afraid of quiet babies than noisy babies...)

Well, when she looked, she could see that Anastasia was sitting beside Christopher with her hand on his leg as if she was soothing him and saying "that's alright brother, it will be OK" and he had calmed down.

So it seems that our little girl might be displaying empathy in helping to calm down her upset brother. When Roxanne told me about it i got almost a little weepy eyed. Such a sweet moment.Posted by Picasa

The smallest things amuse them...

We found a great little park not far from Daddy's work. and while it has great swings, bit structures to play on and a spongey ground so as to not crack your head, what did they love the most????

The little holes in the stairs!

Their 15 month birthday!

As usual, we could not get them to sit still, look at us, and smile all at once.

I wonder, does this part ever get easy?

Our First Trip to the Zoo

Well, it seems that we are able to easily post once again to Blogger.

Here we have some pics from when we took the kids to the zoo back in early January. They seemed Spectacularly unimpressed with the Donkey though.

"Would you like to Swing on a Swing"

They DO love their bath!
