Our smiley babies

We took them to a little park nearby to play on the swings. (they love them) And she really loves that hat. She is quite happy leaving it on.
And our boy... what else can we say about the little goofball! Posted by Picasa

How NOT to use a pacifier!

We keep trying to show her, but she never seems to get it right anymore. It sure looks funny though. Posted by Picasa

Milestone for Mommy and Daddy

Please note that child is feeding himself! Also please notice that not only is he feeding himself, he is doing it with style and panache! One handed! When uncle Adam was visiting, he showed off even more and demonstrated the one handed cross over. (Left to right hand!) Posted by Picasa

Peek-a-boo!

No baby girl... you sit IN the eversaucer!
Oh well, as long as she is having fun! Posted by Picasa

A milestone for Daddy

November 5 2006. After 375 days of formula... MILK! REAL HONEST TO GOD MILK!!! No more making formula until the wee hours of the night. (and costco has a much better price for 2 gallons of milk than for the cans of formula powder!Posted by Picasa

Easy on the Attitude little girl!

OK, she can have fun doing just about anything...
But if you annoy her... look out Mister! Posted by Picasa

Our little guy is sitting up!

This marks the first time that Roxanne came in after a nap and our little guy was sitting up in his crib.
And lookin proud i might add! Posted by Picasa

The Maestro!

Our little girl playing her musical playground. It sounds like a cacophony of noise to us... but she loves it! Posted by Picasa

Wow... who does he look like?

Methinks that my baby looks alot like my daddy! Posted by Picasa

Daddys Costume

They do not seem very impressed with Daddys costume. They took it with a rather Laissez-faire attitude i must say. Ah well, hopefully i can impress them next year.

Our Little Monkeys!

Mommy found these really cute little monkey costumes for their first halloween. Ok, it is technically their second halloween, but it is not like they were really taking part in their first one.
Mommy decided to hold off before getting them out of their costumes and see if she could get some pictures. While they drove her mad crawling all over the place... kind of like a pair of monkeys, she did get some great pictures.

First Birthday Portraits

Well, true to form, after 11 months of practice in taking pictures on their monthly birthday, we continued the tradition for their first birthday. However, this time we chose to let the good folks at Sears Portrait Studio take over. It turns out, while they have a much nicer camera than us, they dont hold the secret to getting our babies to cooperate. After much coaxing, funny faces and noise makers, we managed to get a few really cute shots. We hope you enjoy them!

In actual fact, we had to make two trips to Sears studio. We learned an important lesson about going there late in the day, on a weekend, when they decided not to nap. While it went rather poorly, we did manage to get one really cute picture. Posted by Picasa

Funny Outtake!
This picture best describes how our first attempt went.
Two very tired, fussy babies!!
It's nice to be able to look back and laugh at it now. Oh... how we love the outtakes!

Mmmm... birthday cake!

Next up... Presents!

Well, we have cake, hats, babies... It must be time for presents!

Isn't it ironic that they have more fun with the other stuff?

%&*$#@ Blogger

I apologize that i have not gotten any pictures posted in the last while...

Googles blogger software was what made all of this very easy. i just look at a picture in Picasa, and then hit a button, enter some test and it is done.

About a month ago, blogger rleased a new software version and i thought that i would use it since google is really good about making sure that they do not relase buggy stuff.

Well, the new version of blogger FRIGGIN SUCKS!!!!

First i could not post anything from Picasa, it worked badly and inconsistently, now i cannot even post from the website.

FIX YOUR F*%&$N SOFTWARE GOOGLE!!!

Objective 1... Keep hats on for some pictures

We had such high hopes of cute pictures with the babies wearing their cute little hats. Maybe looking up lovingly at us... Maybe even looking quizzically at each other...

In the end we settled for whatever we could get... :)

You can't have a birthday without a cake!

Well, i thought i would start with giving out props to mama for the cake and theme for the party. As with most parents of little ones these days, Baby Einstein factors heavily into things. Great videos (which keep the kids occupied) Great toys (which help them develop) and a whole line of stuff!

We decided to go with the Baby Einstein theme for the party and as such, we went with a cake fashioned after their Logo. Mama worked with a great bakery that was right around the corner from the party (Aunt Becky's House... THANK YOU AUNT BECKY!)

In retrospect, the green icing may have been a bad idea. (although the dry cleaners did manage to get the stains out.)

Whoulda thunk that the babies would just slam their hands into the icing and such? (pics to come) Posted by Picasa
