I guess they like each other?

We could put these two on opposite ends of a football field (or ice rink) and they would end up rollin all over each other. I cannot wait until they can (on purpose) poke each other! 

The Many moods of Anastasia.

Our little Daughter has some interesting quirks. Most of the time when I come home from work she is usually playing with some toys. And more aften than not... one of them is in her mouth!
Or she is just "almost crawlin" and smiling that big ole grin at us.

They have gotten so big, we can't put them in baby bouncy chairs anymore. And they do not make Jolly Jumpers that can take them... Oy Vay!

Pilates girl!

I think that all the chubby little girl cracks have gotten to Anastasia. Lately she has taken up pilates to get in a more appropriate shape for her age.

9 months old!!!!!

Wow! 9 months old and sittin up all by themselves!

So close to crawlin!

Heads are up... way up. Butts are up... crawlin will happen any day now! 

Whopee! They graduated from the tub on the counter!

Well, here is a double edged milestone.

Good) Mommy gets her counter back to put her hair dryer and stuff out without worry of babies knocking it all over.
Great) The counter no longer ends up drenched due to prolific water splashing.

Not so Good) Mommys back after a bath!

Learning to share.

It is not enough that they have their own binky... They want each others! Roxanne even once caught Christopher with his binky in his mouth, and Anastasia's in his hand. And he was confused as he kept trying to jam hers into his mouth. Confused as there was already one there. 

Anything to beat the heat.

When it is 105 outside... and you do not have central air, you do anything to beat the heat. Aunt Becky had a great idea of putting a few icecubes in a ziploc bag and letting them go to town. Heat... Solved, Teething... Solved. Keep babies occupied... Solved!
Although Anastasia may have left the bag on her chest for a little too long... Although she was fine about it. (Mommy was worried, but figured that if she had a smile like that, she must have been OK.) 

The Princess and the Pea

When i saw this picture, i was struck by how pretty Anastasia is. As her Dad, of course i always think that she is pretty, but this one surprised me... I am so screwed when she gets old enough to go on a date! Well, it is never too late to buy a shotgun.

Family Visiting.

We had the pleasure of some of Chris' family visiting recently. Harold and Edith Scharfe. Harold is Chris' dads cousin. The babies took to them right away.
