As we went through the meal we were doing the regular parent thing. We were tearing off small chunks of meat and slowly feeding it to them. This was not good enough for Christopher. Once the meat got close enough, he reached out and YANKED A RIB OFF THE RACK! He grabbed it and started gnawing like a dog who has not seen his bowl in a week. We could not believe it... he was loving it.
After a while he did what little kids do and jettisoned the rib over the edge and let it hit the ground. so that made it no longer baby friendly. That was no good for our little guy. THis is what happened next!
When the meal was winding down, we decided to let him knaw on a dead soldier. he loved it... and it kept him quiet! So we tried giving Anastasia one as well... BINGO!
As a result of this little experiment, we will definitely be going back. But more importantly, it lets us know that we can now go out for dinner as a family! So that is yet one more little smidgen of freedom gained!

THERE IS NO DOUBT IN THE WORLD.... THESE ARE MY GRANDCHILDREN!!!!!! AS DADDY KNOWS i'VE NEVER MET A RIB THAT I DIDN'T STRIP CLEAN....THESE ARE CHILDREN AFTER MY OWN HEART!!!!!!!
What a bunch of animals. For so many years I have had to maintain my dignity and decorum whenever it was feeding time at the zoo [also known as Tony Romas]. Now we have a whole new generation of carnivores coming along. Why not try them out on crab?
I just couldn't help but to comment on these pictures. Uncle Leo is so proud to see the babies truly enjoying the perfect food. The only thing missing is the beer but that will come in good time. Very cute pictures. Auntie Kim and family
