Christmas Morning 2006

This Christmas, it was fun watching the babies actually excited to tear open the wrapping paper on the gifts.

Anastasia was so excited to be standing on her own and soon after taking the big leap to some walking. She is such a determined little girl!

For our Tree this year, we went to a cut-your-own Christmas tree lot in Half Moon Bay

The babies enjoyed their outting to find the perfect "fresh" Christmas tree to take home for their 2nd Christmas.

Anastasia and Christopher were surprisingly well behaved with Santa this year. We were fortunate enough not to have to hassle the chaotic malls and were able to take advantage of the opportunity of a nice, quiet sitting with Santa at a small children's store run by our diaper service. Stress free and cost FREE!! A pleasant time was had by all. Hey!... you look familiar!

Through the Looking Glass

Anastasia and Christopher have found their way to the sliding glass door. In their holiday pj's, they have fun touching the cold glass window. Frankly, I think they want out (just like the cat did) and probably won't rest until they find a way to open the door to freedom!

Finally.

Well, it finally happened. He is now standing in his crib with no help!
Of course... this means that he can now see his sister and they can spend an entire nap time laughing at each other... Oh Well, tradeoffs! 

BIG TIME MILESTONE!!!

Yes... it is a plate. And Yes... it is food on it (human food, not that gerber stuff) and Yes... they are feeding themselves.
We just won't talk about how much of the food they were wearing afterwards. I will point out that Anastasia has the dainty girl grip of one piece at a time. CHRISTOPHER... well, he uses more of a shovel technique. 

You crawl through it... you don't wear it!

Oy Vay... these kids. DOn't they know that you crawl through the tunnel thing? Do we need to show them the manual???
